SPECTRAVISION BIOFEEDBACK SCAN

tulsa medical

Technically speaking, the SpectraVision measures the asymmetrical distribution of probability amplitudes of non-cognitive space-time events representing the somatic responses of metabolized cellular experiences, which collectively precipitate a three-dimensional holographic model of memory.

Every cell in your body can communicate with one another using electromagnetic signals much like a cell phone. The SpectraVision can communicate with your body by using these same low level electrical signals to help uncover energy patterns that may be interfering in your path to wellness. The SpectraVision Biofeedback scan begins with the computer asking your cells thousands of questions at a rate of 144 questions every 2 seconds.

These questions are asked 8 times each, understanding that we often do not easily release buried information, so repetition helps bring the information to the surface. These “replies” come as a positive, negative, or neutral answer, which are in turn picked up by the SpectraVision, processed and rated using complex computer algorithms. We then use that information to build a homeopathic formula that will help release the primary negative energy patterns that were found during the initial scan.

Hormone Panels

Adrenal

The dutch® urine steroid hormone profile measures hormones and hormone metabolites (called conjugates) in a dried urine sample. Measuring both hormones and their metabolites can give a better overall picture of hormone production. For example, a urine steroid hormone profile on someone with low salivary cortisol could show normal cortisol production, but high levels of metabolites.

In other words, he/she is producing enough cortisol, it's just getting broken down into its metabolites very quickly. There are also some metabolites that are important markers for breast cancer risk that can only be measured in urine.

With serum and saliva hormone spot-testing, it's possible to track variations in hormone release throughout the day - what we call the circadian rhythm. In contrast, the standard 24-hour urine collection reflects the total hormone output in a 24-hour period. With the dutch® urine steroid test, you get the best of all methods.

Thyroid

Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH) - Evaluates overall thyroid function

  • Total Thyroxine (T4) - Measures the total amount of T4 produced by the thyroid gland
  • Free Thyroxine (T4) - Measures the amount of T4 available to the cells and tissues
  • Free Tri-iodothyronine (T3) - Measures the amount of T3 (the active form of the hormone) available to the cells and tissues
  • Reverse T3 - Measures the non-functioning form of the active hormone T3
  • Antithyroglobulin antibody (ATA) - Often measured along with TPO, these antibodies can attack proteins involved in the production of thyroid hormones rendering them dysfunctional
  • Thyroid Peroxidase antibody (TPO) - Often measured along with ATA, these antibodies can attack proteins involved in the production of thyroid hormones rendering them dysfunctional

TOXIC METALS & CHEMICAL TESTING

GPL-Tox, a new test for toxic organic chemical exposure and related mitochondrial disorders Metals

Toxic Chemicals: A Major Cause of Developmental Disorders and Chronic Illnesses

Every day, we are exposed to hundreds of toxic chemicals through products like pharmaceuticals, pesticides, packaged foods, household products, and environmental pollution. As we have become more accustomed to chemical-laden products, and as our environment has become more contaminated, we have been confronted with an accelerating rate of chronic illnesses like cancer, heart disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, chemical sensitivity, autism spectrum disorders, ADD/AD(H)D, autoimmune disorders, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's disease.

Because exposure to environmental pollutants has been linked to many chronic diseases, The Great Plains Laboratory has created GPL-TOX, a toxic organic exposure profile that screens for the presence of 168 different toxic chemicals including organophosphate pesticides, phthalates, benzene, xylene, vinyl chloride, pyrethrin insecticides, and others. This profile also includes Tiglyglycine (TG), a marker for mitochondrial disorders resulting from mutations of mitochondrial DNA. These mutations can be caused by exposure to toxic chemicals, infections, inflammation, and nutritional deficiencies.

DIGESTIVE/CLINICAL MICROBIOLOGY

Comprehensive Digestive and Stool Analysis w Parasitology

This easy to use test kit is sent to your home. The kit contains everything needed for collecting specimens, including shipping materials and pre-paid postage for sending specimens to the lab. Results will be made available in approximately 7-10 days after lab receives specimens. No lab visit required.

Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parasitology Test (x3) (CDSA or CSAP) evaluates digestion and absorption, bacterial balance, metabolism, yeast levels and the presence of parasites. This test is used to evaluate the cause of various gastrointestinal symptoms, or systemic illnesses, whose origins can be traced back to bacterial imbalance, parasites, or intestinal dysfunction.

Gastrointestinal (GI) complaints are among the most common reasons that patients seek medical care. Symptoms associated with GI disorders include persistent diarrhea, constipation, bloating, indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome and malabsorption. The Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parasitology x3 may be used to assess digestive and absorptive functions, good and bad bacteria levels, the presence of opportunistic pathogens, and to monitor the efficacy of therapeutic remediation of GI disorders.

The Comprehensive Stool Analysis with Parasitology x3 is an invaluable non-invasive diagnostic assessment that objectively evaluates the status of beneficial and imbalanced commensal bacteria, pathogenic bacteria, yeast/fungus, and parasites. Precise identification of pathogenic species and susceptibility testing greatly facilitates selection of the most appropriate pharmaceutical or natural treatment agent(s).

IMMUNE DEFICIENCY PROFILE

Autoimmune Profile (Comprehensive)

Autoimmunity

There are more than 80 types of autoimmune diseases identified to date. Many of them share similar symptoms, so that pinpointing the exact autoimmune condition can be a monumentally time-consuming, exasperating task. Many patients are not diagnosed until these initially innocuous symptoms manifest into clinical complaints and sub-optimal health. The detection of autoantibodies can be employed for more specific determination of autoimmune diseases. Autoantibodies can also determine the progress of the disease and whether or not therapy has been effective.

VAP Cholesterol Testing

Although standard blood cholesterol tests (measuring total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and triglycerides) have helped doctors to accurately assess heart disease risk in many patients, recent advances in medical science have demonstrated that conventional cholesterol testing provides only limited insight into the multiple factors that underlie cardiovascular disease. In fact, these tests identify only 40% of those at risk for coronary heart disease.

The good news is, scientists have developed a more advanced blood test that can far more accurately gauge your risk of heart disease. The Vertical Auto Profile (VAP) test augments the standard cholesterol profile with additional measurements that can identify the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Best of all, the VAP test not only offers a comprehensive assessment of cardiovascular risk, but also supplies vital information that can help you and your doctor formulate a customized disease-prevention program and measure its progress over time. This powerful diagnostic tool can help you take the steps necessary to avoid preventable health catastrophes—like heart attack and stroke—today.

The baby-boom generation understands that as they age, their risk for heart attacks, strokes, and other cardiovascular events continues to increase.1 Not content to succumb to disease and disability, this population is embracing a proactive, preventive approach to health care that includes advanced techniques of risk assessment such as the Vertical Auto Profile (VAP) cholesterol test.

Awareness of the VAP test is important for anyone who wants to stop cardiovascular disease in its tracks, even before signs and symptoms manifest. The VAP test is performed just like a traditional cholesterol panel: a technician or nurse draws blood and submits it to a laboratory. At reasonable cost, the VAP test provides more information than routine cholesterol tests and expands on this data. The comprehensive information derived from the VAP test enables physicians to more accurately predict their patients’ risk of heart disease, and to customize more aggressive, patient-specific treatment plans.

Even if your doctor’s office does not yet regularly utilize the VAP test, it is very likely that your physician will recognize the value of this advanced cholesterol screening tool, and will use the more detailed information it provides to devise the best treatment program to reduce your cardiovascular risk.

MICRONUTRIENT

SpectraCell Analysis

SpectraCell’s Tests Are More Advanced Than Other Laboratory Tests

Before the introduction of our tests, many diagnostic and risk assessments were based on clinical observation and measurements of static levels of certain nutrients in serum. Static serum levels are not always representative indicators for assessing cell metabolism and utilization.

SpectraCell’s micronutrient testing offers a unique means to scientifically assess the intracellular requirements of micronutrients that play an important role in overall health and wellness of your patients. Our tests measure the biochemical function of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants, providing a powerful clinical assessment tool for your practice.

Our panels are designed to provide you with the most comprehensive nutritional analysis available. As the only lab that can offer a truly functional intracellular testing, SpectraCell also provides you with targeted nutrient repletion recommendations for the deficiencies identified.
